Alana has been co-directing the award winning Calabasas High School A Cappella Program since its inception in 2001. The program includes the mixed voice ensemble, Unstrumental, and the upper-voiced ensemble, Bare Rhythm. The CHS A Cappella program is known for its advanced musicality, killer soloists, and high caliber performances. The program boasts many alumni who have gone on to study and perform music at prestigious universities and in the top a cappella groups in the country, as well as singers who have created successful contemporary music careers, and can be found performing professionally on stage, in film and television, and going viral on social media.
